Dr. Boyer joined Capital City Medical Associates in 1977. His undergraduate degree is from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Columbia, Mo. He also served his Internship, Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases Fellowship at the University of Missouri.
Dr. Boyer served as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Leavenworth, Kan., from 1972-1974. He has been a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Missouri Medical Center Department of Medicine since 1978.

Dr. Boyer resides in Hartsburg with his wife, Diane. They have one cat, two Labradors and two horses. His hobbies include riding and training horses, working with stained glass and playing the harmonica.
