Dr. Nabhane joined Capital City Medical Associates (CCMA) in 1999. She obtained her Medical Degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1991 and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Cooper Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson University of Medicine and Dentistry, Camden, N.J., in 1996. She completed a dual Fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care Medicine in 1999 at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia, Mo. Since joining CCMA, Dr. Nabhane completed her sleep medicine training at Stanford University, Palo Alto, Calif., and the Clayton Sleep Institute, St. Louis, Mo.
Dr Nabhane's specialties cover a wide range of medical disorders from asthma to emphysema, simple cold to chronic cough, lung nodules to lung cancer, insomnia or fatique to excessive sleepiness, snoring to restless sleep or sleep apnea, and pneumonia to septic shock and smoking dependence.
Dr Nabhane also is a member of the intensivist group at Capital Region Medical Center, which was recognized recently as a mentor hospital for its outstanding performance in eliminating the ventilator associated pneumonias in the intensive care unit.
