30 Day Event Monitor
This small monitor is applied to detect arrhythmias which may only occur infrequently and are unable to be detected on the 24 hour monitor.
The monitor will be fitted in the cardiology office and patient teaching will be done at this time. The monitor can be removed daily for bathing or showering and be re-hooked by the patient. After the 30 day period, recorded strips will be read by the office cardiologist and the patient will be notified of the results.
