Holter Monitor
Your CCMA physician may ask you to wear a holter monitor for 24 hours to detect any arrhythmias or abnormal patterns to your heart rhythm. The technicians at CCMA will fit a holter monitor, which makes a record of your heart rhythm continuously on a tape for analysis.
You will wear this monitor for a total of 24 hours and keep a diary of any symptoms that occur during this time period. It is important that the monitor stay hooked up for the full 24 hour period.
